Skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed in many ways. At ski areas you will see people using many different types of specialized ski equipment. Regardless of how you decide to enjoy the slopes, always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing that common sense and personal awareness can help to reduce. Observe the code listed below and share with other skiers the responsibility for a great skiing experience.

Stop in a safe place for you and others.
Whenever starting downhill or merging, look uphill and yield.
Use devices to prevent runaway equipment.
Observe signs and warnings, and keep off closed trails.
Know how to use lifts safely.

Freestyle Terrain Parks may include half-pipes, and other Terrain features. They are provided for you enjoyment and offer adventure, challenge, and fun. However, freestyle terrain use, like all skiing and riding, exposed you to the risk of serious injury. Prior to using freestyle terrain, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with all intructions and warnings and to follow “Your Responsibility Code”.
Freestyle Terrain contains man-made and natural terrain variations.
Inspect Freestyle Terrain before using and throughout the day
Freestyle Terrain changes constantly due to weather and use
Respect all signs and stay off closed terrain and features
In jumping and using this terrain, you assume the risk of serious injury
Be courteous and respect others
One user on a terrain feature at a time
Wait your turn and call your start
Never jump blindly – use a spotter when necessary
LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!
